Owner Surrender Request
Please fill out the form below if you are wishing to surrender an animal to our organization. Because we are completely foster-based, please understand that we are only able to accept animals when we have a foster home available or you are able to foster while a home is found. Once your surrender request form has been reviewed, we will determine whether we have available space to accept the dog and then contact you regarding that determination. If you know of someone willing to keep the dog until a furever home is found, then we will try to work with you to assist in your chosen person becoming a foster with our rescue, while we advertise the dog and look for a furever home. We do our very best to save as many animals as we can but space is limited, so please be understanding if we are unable to accept your animal into the rescue. At this particular time, we are not accepting any cats or kittens as we do not currently have any cat/kitten foster homes or resources, but will update if the situation changes. If you are wishing to surrender a stray that you have found please note that, legally, the government-run animal shelter must be notified and the dog must be held for a state mandatory "stray hold" which gives owners a chance to locate the animal. The animal shelter will determine the best course of action whether it be the animal immediately placed in rescue during the stray hold or the animal go to the animal shelter facility to fulfill the stray hold. Please be sure you have contacted the local animal shelter regarding a found stray prior to filling out the owner surrender request form found below.
